Kankakee River State Park

The Kankakee River State Park is ideal for hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and canoeing. Set in the oak and maple forests bordering the Kankakee River, the state park is a favorite destination of locals. Enjoy a warm summer's day canoe ride - one of the park's most popular activities, or simply explore the park on foot. The park's meadows are often the location for outdoor games and activities. Only a 25 minute drive from the Greenhouse B&B, it offers a pleasant day excursion during your stay with us.
