Located ninety minutes south of Chicago, Illinois, the Greenhouse Bed and Breakfast offers a peaceful, eco-friendly oasis in the heart of north-eastern Illinois farm country.  Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast in the warmth of a 1900's vintage farmhouse on our three-acre farmstead.  Stroll our organic, permaculture-based gardens and orchard, enjoy our colorful chicken flock, and relax on a bench by the lily pond or in a hammock.  

Behold the benefits of living close to nature. Awaken to a rooster's crow or toad's chirp.  Experience the stillness of country living, where on clear nights you can gaze upon beautiful sunsets and a spectacular night sky undisturbed by city lights.  Enjoy a quick garden tour - perhaps you'll sight a honeybee from one of our hives.  In summer, take a dip in our pool.

The Greenhouse Bed and Breakfast has four bedrooms for overnight guests.  We also have facilities for weddings and parties both indoors and outdoors. Our catering service offers an extensive selection of gourmet and standard menu options. 

We chose the name Greenhouse Bed and Breakfast not just because the house is green, but because we do our best to incorporate green principles into our lifestyle.
